Introducing the 2023 Inductees...
The Texas Trail of Fame, Inc., the organization that has placed more than 250 large bronze stars in the sidewalks of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, will add nine more stars in October. The nominations for 2023 have been made and the votes cast. The nine new additions representing the heritage, traditions, values and Western way of life are:

“This year marks 26 years of educating and entertaining visitors about the individuals, organizations, groups and animals that are important representatives of our Western culture and traditions. The memorable large bronze stars in the sidewalks are a spectacular honor, and the biographies for all 250+ inductees are available HERE. The Trail began in 1997 and has become a key feature of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District experience which is enjoyed by more than six million visitors each year,” says Brad Gandy, President of the Texas Trail of Fame, Inc.
For the second year, the Induction Ceremony and Dinner, Unveiling Ceremony and the bronze stars are being presented by the Fash Foundation. “We greatly appreciate the support of the Fash Foundation and all the sponsors who come together to honor the inductees and make the Texas Trail of Fame possible,” Gandy continues.
The Induction Ceremony and Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 26, at Billy Bob’s Texas, 2525 Rodeo Plaza, in Fort Worth. The event is open to the public, but seating is limited. Doors open at 5 p.m.; dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 each and may be purchased HERE. Raffle tickets for a Henry Big Boy Classic .44 Mag/.44 Spl rifle will also be available HERE. The individuals being inducted or their representatives have been invited to attend.
The Unveiling Ceremony for the stars will take place during the Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering, on Saturday, October 28, at 10 a.m. in front of the Livestock Exchange Building, 131 E. Exchange Avenue, Fort Worth. The drawing for the rifle will also take place at that time. “It is a thrill to meet the individuals who are joining the prestigious Texas Trail of Fame,” says Gandy.
