Bobby Norris is a respected rancher, an accomplished horseman, philanthropist, and realtor whose life’s work reflects a deep commitment to Western heritage. Raised on the iconic TeeCross Ranch in Colorado, he moved to Texas in 2000 and quickly established himself as both a leader and competitor in the Western community.He serves on the Board of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, where he has chaired the Rodeo Committee for 15 years. Norris is also a Board Member and inductee of the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, and a Trustee of the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. A 34-year member of the National Cutting Horse Association and Past President of the American Junior Quarter Horse Association, he has also been active in the Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Cowboy Artists of America, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Foundation, and the Tejas Vaqueros since 2001.
For 16 years, Norris trained cutting and roping horses professionally, earning multiple world titles in team roping and cutting. He is the founder and president of Bobby Norris Farm and Ranch Realty, where he continues to serve the ranching and Western communities. In 1988, he established the Roundup for Autism, a nonprofit that has raised millions of dollars to support Autism Treatment Centers across Texas.
Norris and his wife, JJ Goldthwaite Norris, have been married for 24 years and are the proud parents of two sons, Gates and Rhett. His enduring commitment to service, combined with his passion for preserving the Western lifestyle, ensures that his impact extends well beyond the ranching and equestrian arenas, leaving a legacy of leadership, generosity, and devotion to community.
