Tom Bailey Saunders, IV

Tom B., as he’s known, is a 6th generation cattleman from a pioneer ranching family that came to Texas in 1850 and was instrumental in the success of the Fort Worth Stockyards and North Fort Worth. He not only was the first historian and curator of the Fort Worth Herd but he was a long time director of the Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the Fort Worth Stock Show where he remains an honorary vice president. As an avid historian who has appeared in many documentaries, he continues to promote the ideas of the West and the Cowboy way of life. He has co-authored several books, one of which is Texas Cowboys.
