A native of Fort Worth, Steve has been dubbed the “unofficial mayor the Fort Worth Stockyards.” Owner of the West Fork Ranch, he has led efforts to preserve the Stockyards as a pure symbol of Cowtown’s heritage and to ward off commercialization that could damage its authenticity. He has also served as a spokesman and ambassador for Fort Worth and Texas around the world.
